PACKING:
What are the onboard dress codes?
You will need three types of clothing on your Royal Caribbean cruise: casual shipboard attire or day wear,
conservative port wear and eveningwear. Daywear includes slacks or pants, blouses or shirts, knit tops or
polo shirts. Bring a pair of sneakers or rubber-soled shoes for deck sports and a swimsuit cover-up for cool
areas on the ship. Port wear for women includes a casual dress, skirt and blouse, or pants outfit; for men,
casual pants or walking shorts, and polo-type shirts. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. Also, remember
to bring extra bathing suits, as well as sun block, sun visors and other types of sun protection. Eveningwear
should be planned for according to the following evening dress schedule: 3 Casual, 2 Informal, 2 Formal. A
gentleman's choice for casual nights includes a sport shirt and slacks, while women will be comfortable in a
pants suit, skirt and blouse, or casual dress. On informal nights, men are requested to wear a jacket, shirt
and tie, while women may want to wear a suit or dress. For the two formal nights both men and women may
prefer more dressy attire, such as an evening gown for women and a tuxedo or dress suit for men.
To better help you prepare for your vacation, here are some guidelines on what to pack. Keep in mind that
'relaxed elegance' are the bywords for dress onboard each of Royal Caribbean Cruises' ships. And though
your own taste, interests and destinations will determine what you pack, you'll need three types of clothing:
casual shipboard attire or day wear, comfortable apparel for sightseeing and evening wear.
What not to Pack
For the safety of our guests, the following items are not allowed onboard:
• Irons
• Coffee makers
• Candles
• Illegal drugs
Flammable liquids and explosives, such as fireworks.
Evening Attire
Evenings aboard Royal Caribbean include three types of dress: formal, informal and casual.
Formal attire calls for an evening gown or cocktail dress for ladies and a tuxedo, dinner jacket or dark suit for
gentlemen. Elegant, formal evenings include the Captain's Welcome Cocktail Party and Dinner, the Captain's
Farewell Dinner.
For your convenience, arrange for tailored, elegant formalwear to be delivered directly to your stateroom with
Cruiseline Formalwear. With an elegant line of eveningwear for ladies and classic, stylish formalwear for men
, you'll look as famous as you feel. To order, visit www.cruiselineformal.com or call 800-551-5091 or 305-252-
8572.
On informal nights, ladies may wear an informal dress or pants and blouse, while gentlemen may wear a
jacket and tie with slacks. Casual nights call for casual, comfortable wear, so women may opt for a pantsuit or
sporty outfit while gentlemen may choose a sport shirt and slacks. The daily program, delivered to your
stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the appropriate attire each
evening. Dining in jeans, t-shirts, shorts, tank tops or swimsuits detracts from the overall ambience and is
therefore not allowed in the main dining room after 6:00pm.

Baggage Tips
Each adult passenger is permitted to carry up to 200 lbs of luggage aboard the vessel.
Although there is no limit to the number of pieces of baggage limitation aboard the ship, for your own
comfort, we recommend that you limit the number of pieces you bring. Guests with air arrangements booked
through Royal Caribbean Cruises are usually permitted two pieces of checked luggage (no including oversize
bags and sports equipment) and a carry-on bag. Check with your air carrier for specific restrictions.
Bring an overnight bag for your last night at sea. Staff will collect your bags the night before you leave the
ship, and you will need an overnight bag to carry your night clothes and toiletries. Be sure to identify all your
bags, including carry-ons. Use your Royal Caribbean Cruises luggage tags, which should be filled out and
affixed to each piece before you leave home.
Insure all luggage and valuables. Royal Caribbean Cruises cannot be responsible for their loss or damage.
Baggage protection, as well as a variety of other coverages designed to protect you during your cruise
vacation, are offered through CruiseCare Travel Insurance.
Check to see that your tickets, boarding card and other documents are in order, and pack them in a bag that
you carry with you. Your Embarkation Card and Royal Caribbean Seapass Account application should be
completed before you arrive at the pier.

As detailed in our brochure, all guests must ensure that they are medically and physically fit for travel. The
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) provide guidelines as to which
vaccinations are required in each country. In many cases inoculations are recommended but in some
circumstances they are required. We recommend that you check with your health care professional or a
Travel Medicine Specialist certified by the WHO for guidance. Other informational resources can be
accessed at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Traveler's Health website at www.cdc.
gov/travel or toll free at 1-877-FYI-TRIP, and the World Health Organization website at www.who.int/vaccines-

approved waste disposal companies.

and informative talk.

Protect yourself with cruise travel insurance and cruise cancellation insurance protection plans.
With the CruiseCare Cancellation Penalty Waiver, if your plans go awry and you cancel - or interrupt - your
cruise vacation (for specified reasons), Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises will waive the non-refundable
cancellation provision of your cruise ticket contract and pay you IN CASH the value of the unused portion of
your prepaid cruise vacation.
In addition, should you or your traveling companion need to cancel for "any other reason", you may be
eligible for CRUISE CREDITS - up to 75% of the non-refundable, prepaid cruise vacation cost.
For additional details, please click here.
Guests must cancel their cruise prior to departure and must request a refund through the program
administrator to be eligible for cash reimbursement or future cruise credits, as applicable. Credits expire one
year after the issue date, are nontransferable, and are not applicable to holiday or inaugural sailings. Credits
have no cash value and, if applied to a reservation of lesser value, will not result a cash refund of any
difference. Credits may not be used for deposits, only final payment, and can be used only on the cruise
brand originally reserved. Only original copies of credit letters will be accepted; copies or altered letters may
not be used.
Request rates from your travel agent, Sundancer Cruises.
Note: The plan cost is fully refundable if you are canceling outside of Royal Caribbean International's
published penalty period. Prices are subject to change without notice. The plan cost may be paid at any time
from deposit up to and including final payment; however, the CruiseCare Cancellation and Interruption
Penalty Waiver takes effect only upon payment of the plan cost in addition to any required cruise deposit.
Payment of your cruise fare deposit amount without the plan cost will not activate this program.
CruiseCare Travel Insurance provides cancellation and interruption protection for independently booked air,
as well as coverages to protect you during your covered Trip, as follows:
Trip Cancellation for Independently Booked Air up to Total Original Airfare Cost. Trip Interruption for
Independently Booked Air up to 150% of Total Original Airfare Cost. Trip Delay up to $500: If you miss the
departure of your trip due to carrier-caused delays or other covered reasons, the plan reimburses you for
additional accommodations, meals and "catch-up" transportation expenses. Baggage Protection: If your
baggage or personal property is lost, stolen, or damaged, the plan will cover up to $1,500. If your bags are
delayed or misdirected for more than 24 hours, the plan will reimburse you up to $500 for the purchase of
necessary personal items. Medical Expenses up to $10,000: Should you become injured or sick during your
vacation, the plan will reimburse you for necessary medical expenses for up to one year from the date of your
accident or illness. This coverage is especially important, as Medicare and many private insurance policies
generally do not cover you outside of the U.S. or Canada, and many HMOs do not cover you outside their
provider area. Emergency Evacuation up to $25,000: In the event that a covered illness or injury requires air
or ground transportation to a specialized facility or to return home, the plan provides for covered medical
services and supplies (coordinated by our 24-hour Assistance provider, to help ensure your safe transport).
